It is very well written and developed, although frankly, it is quite disappointing that the best of things happen to the worst of people sometimes. A lot of it is written off as naivete when instead it comes to a point of being absurdly stupid choices, but they try to make up for it by blaming age/understanding when that is not at all the issue. So while this will show a great story of human thinking and meanings of existence, it can also drag you along a series of frustrating events that are incomprehensible for those who prefer blank logic over emotion.

A just incredible manga, interesting and developed characters, a well written plot and many twists and a very beautiful graphic style this manga has it all. The only flaw that we can find is that the anime adaptation is still slightly better because of the voices and music which are superb. You really NEED to read this manga (or watch the anime).
